In a move that still causes some people to question his sanity, Doug became a lawyer after 20 years as an executive and owner of a mid-sized travel company. His time in the travel and tourism industry included numerous director's roles on the boards of travel companies and civic organisations, and he served on the advisory boards of companies across the travel supplier spectrum, including airline, car rental, tour operator, publishing, and both traditional (GDS) and online airline ticket distributors.

In keeping with his passion for business, Doug has worked exclusively as a commercial lawyer since becoming admitted in 2014 and joining Linchpin shortly after. His work covers the diversity of our national and international clientele in industries such as consumer product manufacturing, shipping, retail products and services, and technology.
