David enjoys working with clients doing business at the interface of the private and public sectors.

With particular specialisations in energy, competition and consumer law, David brings over 20-years of experience as a senior public servant, that he uses to assist clients to frame their decisions in the context of broader policy, industry and market settings.

David’s previous roles in include Director, Energy at the Essential Services Commission of Victoria, General Manager, Project Planning and Innovation at Vic Urban, First Assistant Secretary of the Commonwealth Department of Environment and Heritage, and Chief Executive of the Sustainable Energy Authority of Victoria.

David graduated with a JD from Melbourne University in 2014 in the top 20% of students. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Melbourne University (2001), and a BSc with Honours from the University of Liverpool (UK).
